Josh Helmich is a third-generation jewelry entrepreneur, visionary, gemstone dealer, and jeweler. The Helmich Family legacy began in the late 1950’s with Josh’s Grandfather Don Helmich when he opened The Compton Rock Shop, a lapidary and jewelry supply store in Los Angeles California. Josh’s mother and father, Susan and Stephen Helmich even met at the Rock Shop. Helmich Luxury Group specializes in custom orders and custom service. Custom orders make a large portion of our business. Engagement rings, wedding bands, bracelets, pendants… anything you can dream envision we can make a reality. Josh orchestrates each custom order from selecting the stone, diamond, mineral or colored gemstone, to the design, and fabrication of the piece to ensure the highest quality and excellence in workmanship.

The Hopkins Opal team is passionate about mining, cutting, sourcing, and distributing beautiful Australian opal to the global market. With a specialization in Lightning Ridge sourced material, Hopkins Opal offers both black and crystal opal of all grades, from commercial to top-gem collector quality.

JRG was founded in 1996, born out of the unique idea that those companies in need of refining services ought to be able to get outstanding service, provided with a commitment to integrity, at fair, reasonable and realistic prices by a company with unparalleled reputation. JRG’s growth was the direct result of word of mouth recommendations of our very satisfied clients. JRG was started with one client & now services over 70 jewelry manufacturers, ranging in size from one-man setting shops to overseas manufacturers with 1800 employees.
